Quick survey: What do you want to know about digital journalism, and how do you want to learn it?

Posted

If you want to get better at social media, data journalism, mobile video or other digital skills, I hope you'll take three to five minutes to answer my survey by June 27.

You might even win $50.

The results of this questionnaire will be used to begin my 2017-2018 fellowship at the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute. My project: delivering bite-sized lessons to time-starved journalists via smartphones.

My immediate goal is to come up with the first course – of what will hopefully be many – that will lead journalists step-by-step through what they need to know in social, video, data and other digital skills.

The survey asks what you want to know about digital journalism and how you want to learn it.

Please help me help you by taking the survey and sharing this link – bit.ly/digijsurvey – with others who might be interested. The deadline is June 27.

Participants will be entered in a drawing for $50 gift cards.
