Local advertisers are agitated (and doing something about it)
Borrell Associates has been busy this summer vastly expanding its annual survey of local advertisers. That research is now complete, and the analysis is available for download.
CEO Gordon Borrell says: "The findings are remarkable. We found significant agitation among local advertisers – more so than usual. Calls by ad-sales reps have jumped 66% in the past year alone. Advertisers are taking steps to curtail the annoyance."
He said the survey is twice as large as last year, offering insights from 26 vertical categories. These cross-tabs include analysis on:
- Restaurants & Bars
- Newspaper Advertisers
- Local Programmatic Buyers
- TV Advertisers
- Radio Advertisers
- Local Retailers
- And 20 other categories
