Free product expands digital business and financial content

A Silicon Valley company has developed a digital product to expand your digital business coverage with more than 300 million pages of content – at no cost – while creating a new revenue opportunity.

The content provided by PassFail includes continuously-updated information from more than 2,000 news sources.  It also includes data on every public company in the United States, information about more than 100,000 executives and 600,000 financial advisers, news about IPOs, podcasts and searchable SEC documents.

The content also targets the 120 million Americans with IRAs, 401Ks and mutual funds.

The San Francisco Chronicle is an early adopter.  Click here to see the application in use.

The company said that its PassFail solution engages younger readers and increases the amount of time they spend reading news and advertising content that is presented in custom-designed top 100 lists that synthesize huge amounts of data, galleries, carousels and short form stories.

Implementation involves little more than the addition of a navigation link to newspaper websites – and there are no long-term commitments.  Revenue is earned through a unique advertising model.

If you don't have a business section, you gain one, the company's brochure says. And if you've already got one, PassFail offers a new way to increase monetization, without increasing the cost of content creation."
