Wilson Times website has new look

Posted

Creative Circle Media Solutions has launched new websites for The Wilson Times in Wilson, N.C. (www.wilsontimes.com), East Bay Newspapers (www.eastbayri.com) and The Jewish Voice (www.jvhri.org) in Rhode Island in recent weeks.

All three sites benefit from Creative Circle's most recent CMS upgrades, which allow editors to easily design landing pages to better reflect the news. Using the six-column grid, editors can move, resize and package content on their web pages just as they do in print editions. They can also select from a variety of layouts and packages for individual stories.

"We don't think media sites should be like bank sites," said Bill Ostendorf, Creative Circle's president and founder. "They should flex and move with the news. And surprising readers with different layouts for both landing pages and stories increases engagement significantly. Our new mediasiteQ platform is by far the most flexible web platform in the industry, allowing real packaging of news content or news and ad packages online like never before."

Ostendorf said Creative Circle's sites provide a wide range of revenue and editorial tools and capabilities not available from any other vendor. Creative Circle was the first media CMS vendor to roll out a wide range of innovations, including the first pay wall, native platform, reverse publishing platform, user-contribution platform, flexible templates and more.

"Our goal is to make excellence affordable and non-technical, even for the smallest publications and to improve user engagement and site revenue options," said Ostendorf. "And our continued innovations are achieving those goals for our clients like never before."
