Web addresses with .news are now available

A new domain name may help journalists and media companies better connect with their digital and mobile readers.

Rightside, a provider of domain name services, has announced the availability of .news Web addresses. Based in Kirkland, Wash., Rightside is the only registry that offers the .news Web addresses. Individuals and businesses can purchase the extension through multiple registrars, including Name.com. Read more from the Newspaper Association of America.
