Enhancements to My Team Scoop CMS increases flexibility and userability

Posted

Presteligence continues to make improvements to the My Team Scoop content management system for its sports staff, contributors and prepress departments.

Publishers now have the ability to design their layouts for desktop and tablet views, move existing widgets anywhere on the page, create custom widgets and buttons, as well as assign color schemes to individual widgets.

The text editor of My Team Scoop now locks stories currently being edited and users can see previous versions and text changes. Inside the stories, reporters can easily add HTML, video and photo albums to make the story even more engaging to their readers.

Basketball stats have also been simplified to one page so coaches can easily provide game updates. All data entered into the My Team Scoop site can easily be exported out (to be posted on another CMS or printed). Likewise, My Team Scoop reads RSS and .xml to import content into the system.

Many of these changes were direct requests from the growing customer base, including Utica Observer-Dispatch, Daily Ardmoreite, Stockton Record, Charleston Newspapers, Erie Times-News and Beaver County Times.  Other media partners currently using My Team Scoop include 1480 WHBC Radio, www.whbcsports.com, Lubbock Avalanche-Journal and Amarillo Globe-News, www.Lonestarvarsity.com, and AIM Media Texas newspaper, www.RGVSports.com
