Newspapers in North Carolina, Bermuda apply for membership

The News Reporter in Whiteville, N.C., and The Royal Gazette in Bermuda have applied for membership in SNPA.

The Whiteville paper is independently owned and published on Monday and Thursday mornings.  Les High is the editor and owner.

The Royal Gazette also is an independently owned paper and is published six mornings a week.  Jamie Cann Sr. is production manager.
