Lachniet named publisher of The Free Lance-Star

Dale Lachniet

BH Media executive Dale Lachniet has been named publisher of The Free Lance-Star, Fredericksburg, Va., and vice president of BH Media's Eastern Community Group.

Lachniet, 52, has been the vice president of operations for BH Media, overseeing the company's Publishing Solutions Group, including the customer information systems team, and The Press of Atlantic City (New Jersey).

The Eastern Community Group includes The Free Lance-Star, The Press of Atlantic City and the Morning News in Florence, S.C.
