"Susan is a native of San Antonio and has exhibited tremendous leadership in every capacity she has held during the past decade while at the Express-News," Aldam said. "Her leadership continuity will ensure that our commitment to serve readers with depth and substance will continue unabated while Susan pursues her personal commitment to deepening our active community involvement throughout the San Antonio region."
