Advertiser-Tribune names interim publisher
Bart Leath has been named interim publisher of The Advertiser-Tribune in Tiffin, Ohio.
Leath had been publisher at two other newspapers owned by Ogden Newspapers: the Minot (N.D.) Daily News and the Sentinel in Lewistown, Penn.
Previously, he was circulation manager at Ogden Newspaper's headquarters in Wheeling, W.Va., overseeing circulation for all newspapers in the group, which now totals more than 40 dailies.
"Ogden Newspapers and I both believe that the newspaper plays a critical role in local journalism," Leath said. "It is very important that The Advertiser-Tribune serves the Tiffin area and supports the local communities.
"I cannot wait to reinvigorate our editorial commitment to the readers of The Advertiser-Tribune," he added. "I want to hear from readers about how they feel about The Advertiser-Tribune. I also want to help advertisers grow their businesses by using The Advertiser-Tribune."
