TKS to close office in Dallas

Effective March 31, TKS will be closing its office in Dallas.

TKS manufactures and sells a wide range of offset and digital printing presses as well as material handling and post press equipment. TKS global headquarters will remain in Japan.

"Business conditions in our industry are affecting both the newspapers business model as well as the vendors who supply the necessary production equipment for their printing. To reduce cost, we will formally close the USA office," said the retiring Mike Shafer, vice president of sales, TKS. 

"TKS will continue to assist in areas related to press sales, upgrade projects and parts inquiries and sales," Shafer said. "Even though closing the office is a difficult step, TKS wants to maintain existing relationships and to continue providing our users the necessary support they need for their operations."
