Finalists announced in Print Quality Contest

SNPA has announced the finalists in this year's Print Quality Contest. Awards will be presented Tuesday morning, Sept. 12, at the Annual Meeting in Colorado Springs.

First-, second- and third-place honors will be recognized in four contest categories: under 25,000 circulation, 25,001-50,000 circulation, 50,001-100,000 and over 100,000.

Finalists (alphabetically by state) are:

  • Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Sarasota, Fla.
  • The Villages Daily Sun, The Villages, Fla.
  • The Advocate, Baton Rouge, La.
  • The New Orleans Advocate, New Orleans, La.
  • Winston-Salem Journal, Winston-Salem, N.C.
  • The Buffalo News, Buffalo, N.Y.
  • The New York Times, printed by The Buffalo News, Buffalo, N.Y.
  • Bristol Herald Courier, Bristol, Va.
  • The Free Lance-Star, Fredericksburg, Va.
  • The News & Advance, Lynchburg, Va.
  • Bluefield Daily Telegraph, Bluefield, W.Va.

Winners will be posted on the SNPA website on the afternoon of Sept. 12, following the announcement in Colorado Springs.
