Morris Newspapers buys Monroe Publishing

Morris Newspaper Corporation has purchased the assets of Monroe Publishing from Bliss Communications. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition included The Monroe Times, serving Wisconsin's Green and Lafayette counties, as well as two free weekly papers: the Monroe (Wis.) Shopping News and the Freeport (Ill.) Shopping News.
