Lior Yahalomi appointed Civitas Media CEO

Civitas Media, a publisher of more than 100 community newspapers in 12 states, has appointed Lior Yahalomi, a board member and prior president of Civitas, as CEO. Yahalomi replaces Ralph Martin, who stepped down.

"Lior has been entrusted by the board to position the company to maximize its strategic value given the rapidly evolving landscape in the publishing industry. He is also charged with advising the board on the appropriate leadership structure for the company going forward," stated Kamal Advani, a Civitas Media director. "We are grateful for the way our local communities have supported our newspapers, many of which have been in publication for more than a century, and we continue to be committed to serving them."
