Top newsroom leadership appointments have been announced among GateHouse New England's southeastern Massachusetts publications, including The Standard-Times, The Herald News and The Enterprise of Brockton, according to Lisa Strattan, vice president of news for GateHouse New England and general manager of SouthCoast publications.

"In order to keep pace with our quickly evolving business and the needs of our audience, we reinvent ourselves on a routine basis. These leadership changes are part of our transformation and will ensure that our audiences will continue to grow in terms of engagement and in sheer numbers," Strattan said.

Herald News and Taunton Daily Gazette Editor in Chief Lynne Sullivan, 45, was named regional executive editor of SouthCoast Media Group, The Herald News, The Taunton Daily Gazette and The Enterprise.

Beth Perdue, 54, editor of The Standard-Times, will become regional executive editor for engagement and community, championing engagement efforts across the GHNE footprint and responsible for developing deeper and more meaningful relationships with our audiences.
