Clay Foster steps down from Tupelo paper, SNPA Board

Posted

Clay Foster stepped down today from the SNPA Board of Directors – as the director from Mississippi.  His decision follows his resignation last week as chairman, president, publisher and CEO of Journal Inc. in Tupelo, after 26 years of service. He is continuing to work with the Journal to effect a smooth transition operationally and in its leadership succession efforts.

Foster said: "It has been an honor and a pleasure to serve with others passionate about our industry and working hard to ensure a strong, viable future. Equally important, the friendships made are deeply cherished and greatly appreciated. I have enjoyed working with SNPA and am honored to have served the industry in this capacity with a great group of leaders. I wish the organization continued success and thank you for the opportunity."
