"The upcoming meeting at The Broadmoor will be a special event, and we are thrilled that the members of the Colorado Press Association will join the executives from Inland Press Association and the Southern Newspaper Publishers Association at this first-of-its-kind event," said Edward VanHorn, executive director of SNPA.

Tom Slaughter, executive director of Inland Press, said: "We're excited that the Colorado Press Association will be joining SNPA and Inland as a co-sponsor of this year's meeting in Colorado Springs. We've put together a terrific program and look forward to seeing members of the CPA at this historic meeting."

Jerry Raehal, chief executive officer of the Colorado Press Association, said: "We're excited to partner with Inland Press and SNPA allowing us to provide a discounted rate to our members. Member education is one of our core missions, and we think this a great opportunity for our members to take advantage of."

Members of all three associations are encouraged to register and reserve their hotel rooms before July 25.  Conference fees increase $100 per person after that date and rooms may not be available.

A special rate of $395 was created for Colorado weeklies that attend the meeting.
