AMG/PARADE names Dave Barber as EVP of Newspaper Relations Group

AMG/Parade President & CEO Chuck Allen has announced that Dave Barber has been named executive vice president of the company's Newspaper Relations Group. Barber will oversee relationships for the company's 1,400+ newspaper partners across the U.S., as well as rolling out the strategy for AMG/Parade's recently formed PEP (Partner Enhancement Program) division, which provides premium content to brands.

"Dave brings exceptional experience and deep industry relationships to AMG/Parade, helping to foster stronger bonds with our partners as we evolve our business and expand our PEP division," said Allen. "He is a terrific leader who truly understands the AMG brand and its goals. His affability, talent and experience fit perfectly with where AMG/Parade is headed."

Barber brings nearly 30 years of experience working with Parade and USA Weekend. Most recently, he served as a consultant for AMG/Parade. Prior to that, he headed up the Newspaper Relations Group at Parade Magazine for nearly a decade. Before joining Parade, Barber spent 17 years at USA Weekend, where he served as SVP Newspaper Relations. Previously, Barber held various sales-related positions at United Press International, Sawyer-Ferguson-Walker, and several newspapers in New Jersey. He currently resides in Sewell, N.J., with his family.
