Tribune Publishing Company has appointed Joycelyn Winnecke as president of Tribune Content Agency (TCA), a syndication and licensing business that serves 1,200 clients in 50 countries.

The company also announced that Tribune Content Agency, on Feb. 15, wll launch Success, a multiplatform content offering that will deliver personal finance and career advice to publishers nationwide. Aimed at helping readers get the most from their financial and professional situations, Success will leverage content from some of the most powerful financial brands, including Fast Company, Kiplinger, Inc., Lean In and more.

Winnecke, a 12-year veteran of Tribune Publishing, was instrumental in the company's acquisition last year of the remaining stake in McClatchy-Tribune Information Service. Under Winnecke's leadership, the daily news service was integrated into Tribune Content Agency and rebranded Tribune News Service. Winnecke and her team have since worked to strengthen the TCA portfolio.

"Tribune Content Agency has a successful track record of delivering premium news and information to an ever-expanding base of clients," said Tony Hunter, publisher and CEO of the Chicago Tribune Media Group, which oversees TCA within Tribune Publishing. "Joyce is an accomplished leader whose appointment as president will help ensure that TCA continues to deliver innovative solutions for existing clients while capitalizing on emerging opportunities."

"In an era of rapidly proliferating platforms, compelling and credible content has never been more important or more valuable," Winnecke said. "I am excited to devote full attention to Tribune Content Agency as we create new ways to deliver value to our print and digital customers."

In addition to Success, Tribune Content Agency recently launched TCA Originals, a service that offers news and features stories for development by TV, movie and documentary producers, providing fresh and dynamic platforms for publishers to extend their best stories to new audiences for new revenue.

Success and TCA Originals complement TCA's existing offerings, which include:
