Tampa Bay Times to distribute USA TODAY to Tampa Bay market

The Tampa Bay Times (St. Petersburg, Fla.) will begin distributing USA TODAY for the Tampa Bay area after being awarded a three-year contract from Gannett, the parent company of USA TODAY.

Starting in November, the Times will distribute about 10,000 copies of the daily print edition of USA TODAY, which publishes Monday through Friday, in Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas and Hernando counties. USA TODAY will be available in more than 1,100 retail outlets, 200 hotels and some schools and colleges. The paper also will be home delivered.

This is the second agreement entered this year between the Times and a Gannett company. In April, the Times announced that it will begin printing USA TODAY in August as part of a three-year agreement.
