Summit to focus on business strategies for long-term profitability
The program for the 2014 SNPA News Industry Summit in Charlottesville lays out a roadmap to long-term profitability for newspapers, and is built around themes of leadership, creativity, inspiration and innovation. The program will be held Oct. 6-8 at the Boar's Head Inn in Charlottesville, Va.
SNPA President Tom Silvestri has created a program that is different than anything you will see at other industry events, and added more time for networking. There's even a visit to Monticello.
Discounted registration continues until Sept. 15. Special discounts are available for first-time attendees.
Winners of SNPA's Photo/Video Contest will be announced Wednesday, Oct.7, at the News Industry Summit in Savannah.
Two sets of awards will be presented – awards in the Members' Choice Category (voted on by SNPA members) and awards from official contest judges (selected by The Associated Press).
By 10 a.m. that morning, awards will be announced on this website.More
