Posted

Feeling digitally dumb? Don't worry, we all do. Things change far too quickly in the digital space with Google and Facebook changing its algorithms almost every quarter.

Over the last year, Observer Media Group in Sarasota, Fla., decided to refocus on some basic digital offerings with unique selling propositions that offer profitable results. Get real "how to" instructions on implementing these products and strategies at the 2016 News Industry Summit, Sept. 14-16 in Sarasota.

This session will be presented by Emily Walsh, publisher of the Observer Media Group.  She will offer real "how to implement" guides as part of the presentation, as well as the ROI to expect.

Don't miss this session at the News Industry Summit.

On June 29 of this year, Walsh, formerly chief digital officer for the Observer Media Group Inc., was named publisher of the company's four Sarasota-based newspapers, magazines and website: the East County Observer, Longboat Observer, Sarasota Observer, Siesta Key Observer, Season magazine, LWR Life magazine and YourObserver.com. And she will continue to head up the company's overall digital strategy and operations.

This year's News Industry Summit will include 24 sessions offering content for all audiences – with general sessions and breakout sessions that simultaneously target dailies, weeklies and editors.  You choose the programs that fit your specific interests.
