Index-Journal publisher Burns to lead SCPA

Judi Mundy Burns, president and publisher of the Index-Journal in Greenwood, S.C.,  has been elected president of the South Carolina Press Association.

Other officers elected were: Ellen Priest, president and publisher of The Star in North Augusta and the Aiken Standard, as weekly newspaper vice president; Mike Smith, executive editor of the Herald-Journal in Spartanburg, as daily newspaper vice president; and Jane Pigg, publisher of The Link in Cheraw, as treasurer.
