NEWSCYCLE Solutions releases new content management software

NEWSCYCLE Solutions announces the release of Content Publisher 2016-1. The content management software upgrade includes several functionality and productivity enhancements to the system's Command Center application, including advanced newsroom collaboration features and greater user control in the Edition Tracker, Search and Plan widgets. 

The latest version lets users clear search parameters in Command Center components, and adds a button to refresh content in the widgets. Search query capabilities are expanded to provide faster indexing and quick return of more specific results. Also, filters in the Favorite Edition widget can be saved and shared with individual users and group profiles for efficiency and faster production times.

"From a library of Command Center widgets, editorial staff can quickly create user interfaces and customize dashboards to help in day-to-day production processes. The Command Center provides visual indicators of workflows for publishers to focus on ad management, page management and output."

Content Publisher 2016-1 includes the following new features and enhancements:

Edition Tracker Widget – Approval and Cancel Approval buttons are added to give publishers and newsroom staff greater control over page output within editions.

Search Widget - To improve usability, users can constrain or grow search criteria within specific publications and its editions or zones. New search filters include: starts with, ends with, contains and exact.

Plan Widget – To eliminate repetitive work and save production time, when a unique page is created any common companion pages in the same page set will also be created as unique pages.
