Three GateHouse papers to launch My Team Scoop
The Daily Ardmoreite (Ardmore, Okla.), Stockton (Calif.) Record and Utica (N.Y.) Observer-Dispatch will deploy Presteligence's My Team Scoop high school sports platform for the upcoming school year. The hosted sites and iOS and Droid Apps will include news, scores, schedules, stats and team information for three separately branded portals.
Stockton Preps will cover 30 high schools, six leagues, and various sports including water polo and badminton. Arbuckle Scores' core focus includes 16 sports for 15 high schools in the immediate area. Utica Scores will cover 25 schools surrounding the Mohawk Valley in New York.
Each site will take advantage of My Team Scoop's ability to reverse publish. The system will export box scores and standings into a specified format for the print edition. News stories, schedules, rosters, stats and standings can also be reverse published for print and web.
My Team Scoop's Game Tracker allows people to follow real-time play-by-play accounts of games. Fans can receive real time score updates via text, email and push notifications from the branded iOS and Droid Apps.
The Gatehouse papers will join Charleston Newspapers, Beaver County Times, and Erie Times-News in their first year of using My Team Scoop. Other media partners currently using My Team Scoop include Carroll County Times, www.carrollvarsity.com, 1480 WHBC Radio, www.whbcsports.com, Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, www.Lonestarvarsity.com, and AIM Media Texas newspaper, www.RGVSports.com.
