Content That Works is pleased to announce that the Post-Bulletin in Rochester, Minn., a Small Newspaper Group paper, has added Kid Scoop to its lineup of in-paper and online Newspapers In Education content.

The weekly page is an enjoyable resource that teachers can use in the classroom to help kids learn in unique ways, including hands-on activities, colorful illustrations and strategies to make standardized testing fun. Today, the feature appears in nearly 400 newspapers, with a following of students from kindergarten to eighth grade.

"I knew the weekly print page would be a great kid- and teacher-friendly addition for our readers," said Randi Kallas, Newspaper in Education coordinator for the Post-Bulletin. "We were able to find a 12-month sponsor within two weeks."

The companion Kid Scoop website offers quality digital features and interactive content, connecting the online and print businesses. "I'm sure Kid Scoop will drive newspaper sales, as well as web traffic to our website," Kallas said.

Every Kid Scoop weekly page leads students and parents to website for fun digital education features and additional NIE materials for in-classroom use.

"I believe Kid Scoop and its website will become a valuable resource in and out of the classroom," Kallas said.
