Ed Gunderson joins Index-Journal management team

Ed Gunderson

Ed Gunderson has joined the Index-Journal (Greenwood, S.C.) as advertising director.

Gunderson is a 20-year veteran of the newspaper business and, most recently, was the publisher of a group of weekly newspapers in Central Connecticut that he helped launch three years prior.

After selling his interest in that company, he took advantage of some free time, and helped a friend sail his boat from Hawaii to Australia, island hopping across the South Pacific. Upon his return, his first priority was to get back in the newspaper business. During his job search, he found the family owned Index-Journal and thought it would be "the perfect place" to use his experience.
