Photo / Video Contest finalists are named

SNPA has announced the finalists in this year's Photo / Video Contest.

This year, two sets of awards will be announced: awards from our official judges selected by The Associated Press and (new this year) awards voted on by SNPA members in the Members' Choice category.

Photos submitted by the following photographers have placed in the top three in one of the four contest categories (spot news, sports, features or videos) – in either the judges' or Members' Choice categories.

  • The winners will be announced on Wednesday morning, Oct. 7, at SNPA's News Industry Summit in Savannah, Ga. In addition, five more entries will be recognized with Honorable Mentions from the AP judges.

    The winners of the Photo / Video Awards, together with the photos and judges' comments, will be posted on the SNPA website following the announcement in Savannah.
