Bill Offill named publisher in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Newspaper industry veteran Bill Offill has been named publisher of The Daytona Beach (Fla.) News-Journal.

Offill, 51, has more than three decades of experience in the newspaper business. Most recently, he was publisher of the Beaumont Enterprise in Beaumont, Texas, a Hearst Corporation newspaper.

"I am excited and honored to be joining the very talented News-Journal team," Offill said. "We are going to accomplish great things for our readers and advertisers. I look forward to being involved in this vibrant community."
