Todd Benz named GM for The Courier-Tribune

Todd Benz has been named general manager for The Courier-Tribune in Asheboro, N.C., by GateHouse Media.

"I'm looking forward to meeting all the great people in Asheboro and the entire Randolph County area," Benz said while in Asheboro recently. "Also, I'm looking forward to working with the great staff at The Courier-Tribune to ensure that the paper and all of our products continue to be an important part of their daily lives."

Benz was hired on Oct. 22 but will not officially start until the end of November. He plans to hold an open house for the public at The Courier-Tribune once he gets settled.

Benz is currently director of audience development for the Bradenton (Fla.) Herald. 

He was chosen and graduated as a member of the inaugural class of SNPA's NEXGEN program, designed to help develop upcoming leaders in the multimedia publishing industry.  Read more from The Courier-Tribune
