The Gazette's business, circulation, advertising, creative services and editorial departments now occupy the first two floors of the Landmark Building at 101 E. Broad St. in Texarkana, Ark. The newspaper's printing press and distribution center operations will remain about two blocks away at 315 Pine St., giving the Gazette a presence on both sides of State Line Avenue.MORE
Today the Citizen Tribune of Morristown, Tenn., celebrates its 50th anniversary of publication with a commemorative edition, a calendar, an employee luncheon and an evening community reception. Family-run Lakeway Publishers Inc. now owns more than 30 publications in Tennessee, Virginia, Florida and Missouri.
Jack Fishman, 81, is president of Lakeway. His son Mike is publisher of the Citizen Tribune and his other son, Jeff, oversees the publishing operations in Middle Tennessee.MORE

Jones Media, a fourth-generation family-owned media company with several daily and non-daily community newspapers, tourism-related products and services and a digital marketing solutions agency, has been sold. The buyer of Jones Media's assets is family-owned Adams Publishing Group, based in Minneapolis, Minn., and chaired by Steve Adams.
Gregg Jones will continue as president and CEO of Jones Media, a role he has held for more than 15 years, and will succeed his late father, John M. Jones, III, as publisher of The Greeneville Sun.
Additionally, Steve Adams and his family have asked Gregg Jones to assume a greater leadership position within their overall rapidly-growing newspaper publishing operations nationally.MORE

The Herald-Tribune has signed a lease for new office space in downtown Sarasota.
A moving van will not be required. The media company will move its journalists, advertising sales people and support staff, from 1741 Main St. to the SunTrust Bank building next door at 1777 Main. The new space will be remodeled for the downtown office's 135 employees.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
