Single Copy Manager
The Florida Times-Union in beautiful Jacksonville, Fla., is seeking a Single Copy Manager. This position is responsible for meeting budgeted single copy volumes, revenue and expense goals, and managing the distribution of our product while maintaining high standards of customer, carrier and employee service.
Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Expected to have the ability to analyze market trends and opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on such.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Audit Bureau of Circulation rules and regulations.
- At least five years of management experience in marketing, sales, distribution and product placement in retail outlets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; ability to apply basic math skills.
- Must have excellent conflict resolution and communication skills.
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.

Circulation Manager
The El Dorado News-Times, 9,800 circulation, in El Dorado, Ark., is seeking an experienced circulation manager.
Applicant must have background in managing and supervising all areas of a circulation department. Excellent customer service skills, exceptional problem solving skills, and verbal and written communication skills are required. Applicant must be self-starting. Early morning and weekend hours may be necessary. Experience with PBS system a plus. MS Office (Word and Excel) is required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
The circulation manger is responsible for annual budgeting, monthly profit and loss, and effective marketing and promotions, and reports to the general manager. Annual salary $40,000 plus bonus plan.
